The Harlem Chocolate Factory was established when founder Jessica Spaulding identified a gap in the chocolate market for a premium quality product which would pay homage to her Harlem roots. The business started off by hand-wrapping home-made chocolate bars for local markets where they always sold out in record time. In 2019 Jessica and her partner Asha Dixon opened their production kitchen in Historic Strivers Row in Harlem. Today their premium chocolate products are shipped to all corners of the globe and are often used for corporate gifting. You can shop for your favorite decadent treats online or come and visit their store on weekends.
