Mount Chocorua is the eastern-most peak in the Sandwich Ridge of the White Mountains. Two generations of Remick doctors tended to the needs of Tamworth residents for nearly 100 years, between 1894 and 1993. Today visitors are invited to come and gain a glimpse of their everyday lives at the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm. Visitors can tour the original homestead which is furnished with antiques and period pieces. There is a section dedicated to house-made medicines and you can see the doctor’s office and equipment. Outside on the farm children can have fun collecting eggs, feeding goats, milking cows and learning about where their food comes from. The museum hosts regular fun events and educational pods.
