Deboullie Public Lands are located in a remote section of the North Maine woods and provides excellent opportunities for hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, and wildlife watching.
The 21,871-acre Deboullie Public Lands encompasses 17 crystal-clear trout ponds surrounded by low rugged mountains and ranging in size from 8 to 341 acres which are ideal for fishing. A 12-mile trail network with several loop options leads to many remote ponds, as well as up the 1,981-foot Deboullie Mountain which offers expansive views of the surrounding region. Other activities include backcountry hiking and pond-side camping in a beautiful landscape east of the Allagash Region.
