Review:

Parrain's Seafood Restaurant has been a Baton Rouge favorite since 2001, offering high-quality seafood entrees at lunch and dinner throughout the week.

The restaurant, which is located within Baton Rouge's mid-city district, serves up house specialties such as Andouille-encrusted fish, New Orleans-style barbecue shrimp, and black and bleu tuna alongside Cajun favorites such as crawfish etouffee, pontchartrain, and catfish perdu.

Fried seafood platters feature diners' choice of shrimp, oyster, catfish, or stuffed shrimp, while po'boy sandwich selections highlight shrimp, oyster, or catfish. Land entrees such as whole fried cornish hens, Angus ribeye steaks, and half-pound burgers are also served, along with elegant shareable appetizers such as oysters Bienville, bacon-wrapped barbecue shrimp, fried alligator, and crabmeat-stuffed mushrooms.
