Beausoleil is an upmarket Louisiana-style bistro located in Baton Rouge's Bocage Village, opened to the public in October of 2010.
The charming restaurant, which is managed by Jeff Conaway and Michael Boudreaux, showcases casual décor and a spacious bar, presenting periodic live music performances throughout the week. Brunch, lunch, and dinner service throughout the week highlights elegant entrees such as blackened rainbow trout, shredded rabbit with späetzle in dijon cream sauce, fried Louisiana catfish, and 14-ounce bone-in ribeyes. Couples can also share small plates such as truffled fried oysters, sauteed sweetbread with champagne butter, crawfish cheese fries, and locally-sourced charcuterie boards.
At brunch, diners can choose from croque monsieur or shredded pork po'boy sandwiches or enjoy house omelettes, Louisiana jumbo lump crab cakes, or Southern-style breakfasts with grits, biscuits, eggs, and flat iron steak.
