Pollard Theatre Company is a professional theatre, recognized by critics and artists as one of the major theatrical companies in central Oklahoma. The Pollard normally presents six major shows in a season, showing its versatility and high artistic standards, while at the same time challenging artist, audience and community. The theatre has presented some of the best talent in the region, performers known on the many stages in the Oklahoma City area, as well as emerging artists from local universities. The Pollard Theatre Company is considered an artistic haven for many Oklahoma’s most gifted theatre performers. The Pollard's artistic focus is on the narrative, on the story, believing that if the narrative works, the audience will leave with better understanding of the “shared human experience.”
