Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library is a local history museum that celebrates Oklahoma heritage and history. It is located in the beautiful 1902 Renaissance Revival building, and together with Carnegie library is part of theGuthrie Museum Complex. . The mission of the Museum is to preserve the heritage of Oklahoma with the collection of exhibits and interpretation of archival and material artifacts. The museum documents the most important events in the state including creation of the Unassigned Lands, the Land Run of 1889, the homestead experience and more. Guthrie's Historic Carnegie Library was built in 1902. It was the second Carnegie Library in Oklahoma.
