Review:

Formerly known as Springfield Park, Henry J. Klutho Park can be found in north Jacksonville alongside Hogan’s Creek. It is named after a Springfield resident whose architectural influence transformed the city after the Great Fire of 1901. The park was created in the early 1900s and was the site of the city’s very first zoo which opened in 1914. Later on, it was the site of Jacksonville’s first municipal pool as well, which opened in 1922. Over the years the park has been renovated and redesigned many times and now resembles a lovely Venetian-style promenade. Some of the amenities currently available include tennis courts picnic shelters, bike racks, and ample parking.
