Hidden away in a rural area southwest of Wichita, the Lake Afton Public Observatory offers the exciting chance to explore and learn about the night sky. It's the proud home of a specialized 16-inch reflector telescope, and visitors are welcome to peer through the telescope in search of stars, planets, and even far-off galaxies.
