Dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the City of Goodland and Sherman County, the High Plains Museum is a city owned and operated museum with a collection of more than 8,000 artifacts. Many of the objects in the museum date back to more than 100 years ago, and the biggest highlight of the collection is a replica of the first patented helicopter built in America.
