Review:

Sitting on the edge of the 41,000-are Cheyenne Bottoms, the country's largest inland marsh, the Kansas Wetlands Education Center is a fantastic place to learn about the unique wetlands ecosystem and the animals that live here. Indoor exhibits provide insight into the history of the wetlands, and visitors are also welcome to explore the grounds around the center, where naturalists are available to answer questions. During the spring and the fall, lucky visitors will also be able to watch as migrating birds take to the skies by the thousands. The center's hours of operation vary according to the season, and there is no admission fee.
