Longtucky Spirits is one of Longmont's premiere microdistilleries, co-founded by John Young and H.K. Wallace. The distillery, which is located within the city's renovated former Daily Times call building, produces a variety of unique liquors crafted with fine Colorado ingredients, including Rocky Mountain water melted from nearby Longs Peak. Flagship liquors include the company's Lusca spiced rum, Alpine Dry gin, Amaro Arancia Italian-style liquer, and Shine locally-grown corn whiskey. Specialty liquors and bottled cocktails are also offered throughout the year, including collaborations with other local breweries and distilleries such as Left Hand Brewing. Handcrafted cocktails are served up at the company's cocktail lounge, which is open to the public seven days a week and hosts live music performances periodically.
