Another one of St. Thomas' most popular beaches, Magens Bay is a one mile stretch of beach connected to a public park. This particular beach is a visitor favorite, especially if visitors are traveling with younger ones, as the water is extremely calm and the current is not strong. The lack of waves make it a perfect place for little ones to swim, float, and play around in the water safely.

Visitors can rent paddle boats, kayaks, snorkels, and floats from the many sports booths found on the beach. There are also sun lounges and beach chairs for rent to sunbathe and relax under the warm sun. Other facilities and amenities include beachside bars, restaurants, gift shops, hair braiding stands, walking and jogging trails, picnic benches, and lifeguards.
