Madonna of the Trail is a 12-monument series in Upland dedicated to the pioneer women of the 19th and 20th centuries, originally commissioned by the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution between 1928 and 1929. The sculptures were created by artist August Leimbach and are installed at sites in 12 states along the National Old Trails Road, which stretches from Maryland to Upland, California. Though it was originally meant to stand in San Bernardino, Upland's statue has become a prominent fixture in its local culture today, serving as a fixture point for a number of local protests, campaigns, and pilgrimages throughout the city's history. The statue is located on the city's Euclid Avenue and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Last Name Brewing is a fun craft microbrewery that was originally opened to the public as Dale Brothers Brewing in 2003, founded by area residents Curt and Andy Dale and Karen McMillan. The brewery offers a wide variety of year-round flagship and seasonal beers, including its Pomona Queen California Amber Lager, California Black Beer Dark Lager, Red Between the Lines Imperial Red Ale, October Fiesta Lager, and Runway IPA. Its tap room is open to the public daily between 12:00pm and 9:00pm, with brewery tours available with advance reservations for groups of four or more. Cooper Regional History Museum is a nonprofit organization that strives to preserve the social and cultural history of the Upland region, originally founded as the Chaffey Communities Cultural Center in 1965. The museum was originally housed within a converted 1937 Art Moderne-style building that formerly housed the Ontario-Cucamonga Fruit Exchange, which ceased its operations in the 1960s. Since 1997, the main museum has moved its operations and exhibits to a facility on downtown Upland's East A Street, though its fruit exchange building still operates as an agricultural artifact exhibit center. Visitors can explore both museum facilities Thursdays through Saturdays during the afternoon hours.

Trapped Escape Room is a unique escape room entertainment center that challenges small groups to figure out how to escape a themed locked room within 60 minutes using clues that help participants identify key puzzle elements. The escape room chain initially opened in the Inland Empire and has expanded to offer locations throughout the Las Vegas, San Dimas, and Los Angeles regions, including an Upland location. Three themed rooms showcase immersive set and sound elements, including a Down the Rabbit Hole room themed around a runaway dog concept, a crime-solving Lair of the Puzzlemaster room, and a Sector 13 room, themed around an underground high-security laboratory. Hangar 18 Indoor Climbing Gym is the largest network of indoor climbing gymnasiums in Southern California, offering eight locations throughout the Los Angeles and San Dimas regions, including an Upland location which serves as the chain's flagship location. The gym showcases 12,000 square feet of unique indoor climbing surfaces, including bouldering and top-rope areas and lead routes that span more than 70 feet. Climbers of all ages and ability levels can enjoy the facility, including private special event rental groups.
