Morton’s Warm Springs Resort is a sanctuary of geothermal springs located in Sonoma County’s Valley of the Moon. This mid-century resort has been providing city dwellers from San Francisco to Oakland with an escape to nature that features picnics, barbecues, recreation activities, and swimming in the mineral springs since the 1950s. Visitors can expect to find two geothermal pools, plus a wading pool, changing rooms and showers, Sonoma Creek access, creekside barbecue and picnic sites, and an organic café. There are also horseshoe pits, lawn games, ping pong tables, and a baseball field and sand volleyball court. The season runs early May through late September.
