Review:

The first cidery in the state of West Virginia, Hawk Knob Hard Cider and Mead specializes in making unique artisan ciders and meads using traditional methods. Many of the products are made with local fruits and honeys, and most of them tend towards the dryer end of the spectrum. The tasting room is open Tuesday through Saturday, and in addition to meads and ciders, it offers an excellent selection of meats and cheeses as well as a charming outdoor deck. Live music is often played in the evenings, and the space can be booked for special events.
