Review:

Established in 1990 on the grounds of a former golf course, Daniel Vineyards is a conservation grape farm that produces world-class estate wines. The winery's vineyards sit at a higher altitude than any others in the state, and they grow fifteen varieties of grape that were carefully hand-picked to thrive in the relatively chilly West Virginia climate. Red, white, and dessert wines are available, and tastings are offered for a small fee. The property is open Tuesday through Saturday, and visitors are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch and spend an hour or two enjoying the beautiful property.
