Sitting on a 47-acre property in Quechee, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science is an educational organization and bird rehabilitation center. There are plenty of fun things to see and do, including live raptor shows, a songbird aviary, and informative, kid-friendly exhibits. Visitors of all ages will also love the Forest Canopy Walk, a unique ADA-accessible boardwalk that uses the sloping landscape to lead visitors into the treetops with almost no elevation gain. The center is open seven days a week year-round, and in the summer, there are nature camp programs for kids between pre-kindergarten and Grade 8.
