Review & FAQ:

Created to preserve and share the rich cultural heritage of past and present Vermonters, the Vermont Folklife Center is dedicated to helping people of all ages develop a better understanding of other people's histories and perspectives. The ethnographic exhibits are changed on a regular basis, and there are usually interactive programs featuring local musicians, storytellers, and other people who want to share their experiences. There are also more than 10 chances for one-on-on apprenticeship experiences with local artists and craftspeople, and during the spring and fall, the center hosts storytelling workshops designed to help participants explore the communities they belong to.
