Review & FAQ:
Hidden away in the foothills of the Green Mountains, the Green Mountain Audubon Center sits on a 250-acre property consisting of fields, wetlands, and forests. All of these habitats provide plenty of opportunities to see wild animals no matter what the time of year, and there are approximately five acres of hiking trails to explore. During the summer, visitors can also stop by the butterfly house to marvel at the colorful insects. The trails around the center are open to the public year-round, and special events like birdwatching walks and maple sugaring demonstrations are held on a regular basis.
