Review:

The Nuuk Art Museum was created in 2005 and resides in a building that was formerly an Adventist Church. While small, the museum is packed with unique collections that highlight the country’s heritage. Inside, visitors will be able to view numerous types of arts and crafts created during the 20th-century, as well as 300 paintings from native artists, like Anne-Birthe Hove, and 400 Greenlandic statues that are carved in materials such as soapstone and ivory. All of these artifacts are split up into different sections to help visitors better navigate through everything. Visitors can tour the museum themselves or take a guided tour.
