Fondly referred to as the MOMAD for short, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is housed in an eye catching modernist building situated in the eastern region of the Old Town. The museum has three spectacular floors of exhibit space, which showcases magnificent examples of modern and contemporary art by gifted Croatian artists. Some works to be enjoyed and gazed at in the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art include those by the renowned painter Vlaho Bukovac from Cavtat, and the sculptor Ivan Kozaric.
