Review & FAQ:
Spanning over twelve hectares, the Promenade du Paillon is a stunning green space that can be found in heart of Nice alongside the Promenade des Anglais and the National Theater. It was designed by landscape artist and gardener Michel Pena in 2011 and has since then become a popular place for people to gather. Though picnicking on the lawn is prohibited, visitors are encouraged to walk around and marvel at the thousands of trees, shrubs, and perennials. Some of the promenade’s main features are its water mirror, a monument dedicated to General Nice Massena, and a bronze reproduction of Michelangelo’s David.
