The 9E ranch is in the 13 mile belt of Lost Pines, so called because they are separated by 100 miles from the main Loblolly Pine forest that stretches across Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. There are four secluded cabins on the 320 acre wooded property, each with its own characteristics.

They all offer an opportunity to experience a Texas ranch lifestyle, wind in the trees, starry skies and encounters with wild turkey, horses and Texas Longhorns.

In nearby Bastrop, there is a golf course, fishing spots, a museum and an opera house.
