When John and Karen found this property in Glen Rose, they had a vision to share the beautiful setting with others. John built and equipped two double-story and two single-story cedar cabins while Karen ran their candle-making business. The double-story cabins have balconies off the master bedrooms so guests can lie in bed and watch the stars. Guests can further relax in the hot tub or the rocking chairs on the porch. Cabin Creek is near the Texas Rose Horse Park, in Lindale, east Texas. There are five distinctly different cabins on the large wooded property, accommodating at least four people each. Next to Hunter Hollow is a 480 square foot shaded deck with outdoor cooking facilities and seating for 10-12 people. The rustic Home Place is the original cabin and still has its iron roof.
