The Rose Hall of Birds is based in the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Victory Park in downtown Dallas and is one of two substantial new paleontology halls, which offer a visual feast spanning millions of years. Overlooking the dinosaur hall, the Rose Hall of Birds focuses on the theory that dinosaurs are birds and features dinosaur footprints that morph into bird prints. Other fascinating exhibits that give the nod to this theory include a lifelike wood carving of a Flexomornishowei, the oldest fossil bird found in North America; a giant pterosaur is known as Quetzalcoatlusnorthropi slung from the ceiling and several amazing displays of dinosaurs.
