Berry Springs Park and Preserve is a charming public park in Williamson County, located just a short drive from the city of Georgetown on preserved farmlands on the banks of Berry Springs. The park, which is surrounded by beautiful Berry and Dry Berry Creeks, is a popular freshwater fishing spot that has been voted as Georgetown's best-kept secret by local residents. Scenic pecan and oak trees provide shelter from the heat for those looking to enjoy picnics or play pick-up sports games on the park's shady field greens. A 2.5-mile hiking and biking trail connects to the city's broader Parks and Recreation trail system. Equestrian trails are also offered, along with day-use picnic pavilions featuring barbecue grills. Primitive and electric hookup campsites are offered throughout the park, while RV sites are offered at nearby Berry Springs RV Park.
