Review:
Piattello Italian Kitchen is a delicious scratch-kitchen Italian restaurant offering from executive chef Marcus Paslay, known for his work at Fort Worth favorite Clay Pigeon. The restaurant, which was opened in 2016, is named for the Italian phrase for "little plate," serving up delicious seasonally-rotating menus in a colorful, family-friendly dining space. Housemade pasta dishes include lamb ragu strozzapreti, tagliatelle Bolognese, cappelletti alla Gricia, and ravioli with housemade ricotta. Diners can also enjoy delectable entree options like eggplant parmesan or Neapolitan-style pizzas prepared in variants like margherita, bianca, or salsiccia. Coffee is provided from local roasters AVOCA Coffee Roasters, prepared at the restaurant's full-service espresso bar.
