Set on a scenic plateau overlooking the Conowingo Reservoir and the Susquehanna River, Susquehannock State Park is a small, 224-acre park in Drumore Township, Lancaster County, which is named for the Susquehannock people, who once lived in the area. The park boasts views of the river and Wissler Run and offers an array of recreational and outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, camping, and picnicking. Five miles of hiking trails wind their way through a variety of landscapes through the park, which is also home to a wealth of diverse fauna and flora, including white-tailed deer, osprey, hawks, bald eagles, and vultures.
