The Butcher's Daughter is a self-proclaimed "vegetable slaughterhouse" in Brooklyn's hip Williamsburg neighborhood, opened to the public in 2018 by restaurateur Heather Tierney and executive chef David Ochoa Rodriguez. The restaurant, cafe, and juice bar serves up a full menu of plant-based fare at breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, showcasing daily-changing menus that feature vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free fare. Excellent health-conscious entrees include portabella steaks, cauliflower pizzas, and housemade pastas prepared with seasonal market vegetables. At brunch and breakfast, diners can choose from options such as triple-berry French toast, vegetarian breakfast tacos, and spinach egg bowls. Lunch selections range from pesto quesadillas and vegan reubens to plantain bowls with black beans and purple cabbage.
