Review:

Swing 46 Jazz and Supper Club is one of Manhattan's most famed jazz supper clubs, located between 8th and 9th Avenues on 46th Street within the city's Theater District on Restaurant Row. The venue was originally opened in 1997 by entrepreneur Judith Lalor and strives to recreate the atmosphere of iconic mid-20th century dance and supper clubs in Manhattan such as Birdland. Today, it is overseen by John Akhtar and offers several jazz and swing music performances each night, with dinner and cocktail service available before and during shows. Following performances, swing DJs provide opportunities for couples to take the floor for dancing, with dance lessons led by a professional instructor. The club's supper menu showcases a variety of contemporary American dishes crafted in house, using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible.
