Farm.One is the only indoor hydroponic farm in Manhattan, located in the city's lively TriBeCa neighborhood within the Institute of Culinary Education under the fine-dining restaurant Atera. The unique urban vertical farm is entirely powered by technology, growing specialty herbs and crops for use in the city's finest restaurants. Visitors can embark on hourlong tours and tasting events five days a week, offering individual question-and-answer time with expert farm staff. All tours include tastings of dozens of rare edible flowers, herbs, and microgreens, with complimentary glasses of prosecco offered to all participants over the age of 21. Visitors should note that tours adhere to a strict no-tipping policy and must be scheduled at least several days in advance of desired tour date.
