Percy Quin State Park is a public recreation area southwest of McComb, Mississippi that surrounds the 490-acre Lake Tangipahoa and offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Boasting breathtaking natural landscapes of rolling hills, forests of Loblolly pines and stately magnolia trees, seasonal flowers, and diverse fauna and flora, the 1,700-acre park is ideal for exploring with the family. Attractions in the park include Lake Tangipahoa, which offers water-based activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, and kayaking, a championship golf course, and several hiking and mountain biking trails. Built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Percy Quin State Park is located just two and a half hours from New Orleans.
