1. Yellowfin Distillery
Yellowfin Distillery was established in 2016 by Jamieson Trouth, a chemical engineer who holds a fascination for distilling. From the get-go it was Jamieson’s intention to produce the smoothest and best tasting Vodka in the state and he is confident that his Yellowfin Otoro Single Estate Vodka has achieved this distinction. The vodka is produced using gluten –free, non-GMO cane sugar from Louisiana’s fertile Mississippi River Delta. The name of the product is derived from Jamieson’s other passion, namely spear fishing; he believes that the yellow fin tuna and his special vodka share a reputation for clean, rich flavor. Visitors are welcome to visit the Yellowfin Distillery Tasting Room for a tour and tasting from Monday to Friday, 11am to 6pm.

3. Brimstone Museum Complex
The Brimstone Museum Complex is located in a lovingly-rescued and restored old South Pacific Railway Depot which was originally built in 1915. When the building fell into disrepair in the 1970’s, local residents stepped in to save it and turn it into the museum it is today. Firstly, they needed to move the depot to a new site, which was quite a feat. After restoration the museum opened to the public in 1976. Today visitors can learn about the history of the railway and the Frasch mining process which put the town on the map. You can also admire a selection of art by local artists.

Forming part of the Brimstone Museum complex, the Henning Cultural Center is housed in a
gracious historic home which was built by Rev. John T. Henning in 1904. The family lived in the home for several years after which it was sold to another family before finally being bought by Sulphur Parks and Recreation in 2002. Today visitors can tour this important Sulphur cultural hub which hosts various art exhibitions throughout the year. During the Covid 19 restrictions the center hosted their very popular “Virtual Saturdays in Sulphur Art Camp” online, to keep art lovers up to date with the ongoing exhibitions.
