The Georgetown College is a private liberal arts Christian college in the town of Georgetown, Kentucky. Established back in 1829, the college was the first Baptist college to exist west of the country’s Appalachian Mountains. Georgetown is committed to its students’ future success and academic excellence, best known for excelling in education and pre-medical fields. The college has even produced five Rhodes Scholars since it was chartered, as well as thirty-eight Fulbright Scholars since the year 1989.
