Serving a hungry and loyal local community since 1910, Fava’s Restaurant is an institution of Georgetown and is located on the city’s busy East Main Street. Interestingly, Fava’s was originally a confectionary that was opened by Louie and Susie Bertolini Fava. From decadent ice cream, homemade chocolate candies, and bins of fresh fruits, Fava’s has grown and evolved into one of the most dining establishments in the county and even has a bed and breakfast downtown. Try lunch specials like the Country Fried Steak, sink your teeth into dinner entrees like the Two Uncle Charlies Pork Tenderloin, or go for the crowd favorite, Fava’s award-winning catfish served with homemade tartar sauce and hushpuppies.
