Review:
Glamour meets simplicity on this whitewashed paradise in the heart of the Cyclades. Although Mykonos is dry and barren, its beautiful white sandy beaches and dynamic nightlife make this island one of the most popular in the Cyclades. Named after the grandson of Apollo, Mykonos, it is believed that Mykonos was formed from the petrified bodies of giants killed by Hercules. The capital town (Hóra) of the island boasts quintessential winding narrow marble streets lined with whitewashed houses with colorful doors and window frames, purple and pink bougainvillea trees, and hidden churches. The vibrant waterfront is lined with bustling restaurants and cafés where you can relax over fresh seafood and soak up the picturesque scenes of fishing boats casting colorful reflections in the azure waters.
