Review:
Kimolos is a tiny and gorgeous island close to Milos in the western part of the Cyclades that is named after the chalk that was once mined here. The island is known for its stunning beaches, which range from white sand to small pebbles, volcanic soil, and lush landscapes of fig and myrtle trees, patchwork vineyards, and reeds. Ayioklima and Prassa beaches have thermal springs, while Kastro and Therma are renowned for their red stones. Kimolos has several interesting attractions, including the Medieval Castle of Kimolos, post-Byzantine churches, archeological and folklore museums, and several ancient windmills.
