Oliver Winery was the first winery opened in Indiana following the passing of the 1971 Indiana Small Winery Act, expanding a personal hobby winemaking operation into an employee-owned company that has become one of the largest wineries in the Eastern United States. The winery, which is operated today by family founding member Bill Oliver, has been ranked as one of the top 25 wineries to visit in the United States by Travel and Leisure. Award-winning fruit-forward wines are sold in 24 states, including the winery's signature Camelot Mead. Guided wine tastings are offered daily at the company's public tasting room, including group tastings available by special appointment. Free half-hour walking tours are also offered on the half-hour each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon, with midweek tours available by special appointment.
