Lanthier Winery is Madison, Indiana's oldest winery, housed within a restored 18th-century home which was originally built during the state's pioneer days. The winery, which is helmed by Tami Hagemier and Chris Lanthier, produces award-winning handcrafted dry, semi-sweet, sweet, and seasonal wines, available for tasting within its cellar-level tasting room. All wine tastings are free, sampling visitors' choices of any of the company's 15 standard wines, including delicious holiday wines such as the company's St. Nicholas Blush, Snowflake White, and Rudolph Red. Tastings are offered Wednesdays through Sundays during business hours. Guests can also browse the company's Loft Gallery art gallery or attend garden events on its grounds throughout the year, including a Harvest Celebration Festival and a Spring Celebration.
