Mallow Run Winery is the passion project of the Richardson family, who have operated a public winery and tasting room out of their family farm in Bargersville since 2005. The winery, which is named in honor of both original family settler George Mallow and the Mallow Run stream that runs through the property, cultivates 12 acres of grapes throughout three vineyard areas, focusing on American and French hybrid grape varietals. Delicious Chardonel, Gewürztraminer, Catawba, Chancellor, and Vignoles wines are sold, along with extra cold hardy varietals such as LaCrosse, Brianna, Swenson White, and Steuben. Complimentary wine tastings are offered daily at the winery's rustic tasting room, which offers a seasonal outdoor deck and cozy indoor fireplaces. Free tours are also available by appointment, highlighting winery production methods and daily operations.
