Located between Bridgeport and Guntersville in northern Alabama, Lake Guntersville is Alabama’s largest lake and her most popular fishing destination.

The long perimeter of Lake Guntersville is dotted with convenient boat ramps and private marinas which offer easy access to the open waters.

Lake Guntersville is primarily noted for its abundance of largemouth bass, which are most commonly targeted. However, many other species are also hooked on the lake including sunfish, bream, redear, bluegill, crappie and catfish.

The second quarter of the year sees many fishing competitions and tournaments.
