Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are the prime fishing waters in Kentucky, as well as being home to a wide selection of outdoor recreational facilities in the Land between the Lakes area.

Together, these man-made lakes cover over 218,000 acres and offer every facility an avid angler could desire.

There are dozens of marinas and access points around the lakes – you can easily find a boat launch or hire whatever you need from one of the marinas.

The most-commonly hooked fish include largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, redear and bass. Due to the excellent fishing conditions, the lake host many fishing competitions each year.

Fishing guides are available to point new-comers in the right direction.
