Housed in a historic red-colored stone building in downtown Hillsboro, the Glenn and Viola Walters Cultural Art Center is a multi-use performing arts venue that showcases dance, musical and performing arts, along with fine art. Built in 1949 as a house of worship, the building in which the center is based encompasses 15,664 square feet of space and is a beautiful architectural landmark in itself. In addition to presenting art-centric performances, the Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center also houses several art studios where students and visitors can take classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, and performing arts.
