Located atop Bald Peak in Yamhill County, the eponymous Bald Peak State Park is a day-use park that features several hiking trails, picnic tables and benches, and spectacular views of several volcanic peaks, including Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and even Mt. Rainier, the Willamette Valley and the Cascade Range from the Bald Peak State Scenic Viewpoint. The 26-acre state park features a lovely grassy hillside for picnics with the family, and a Douglas Fir wood to explore, as well as hiking trails, modern restrooms, and ample parking.
