Nestled in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Ruby Vineyard and Winery is a family-owned and operated winery in the Chehalem Mountains that produces a range of wines with a focus on Pinot Noir. Established in the heyday of the Oregon Trail, the historic vineyard features a blend of both familial and viticultural old own-rooted vines which are dry-farmed in a narrow band of rare Laurelwood soils using sustainable agricultural practices. In addition to making Pinot Noir from some of the oldest vines in Oregon, the vineyard also produces batches of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rosé of Pinot Gris, and Chenin Blanc dessert wine. Wines are made with traditional wine-making styles in the property’s original green barn under the direction of professional winemaker, Andrew Kirkland. The winery’s tasting room is open year-round with sweeping views of Mount Hood.
