Nestled in the mountains of central Idaho, Lake Cascade State Park is a public recreation area and state park that offers a diverse range of recreational opportunities throughout all four seasons. Set around Lake Cascade which is fed by the Payette River, the park has over 86 miles of beautiful shoreline, and features has two group camping complexes, including the Osprey Point group yurt complex and seven well-developed campgrounds, and six boat launch ramps. Activities in the park include boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking, sailing, and windsurfing. Other recreational opportunities range from ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing in the winter to hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, and photography in the summer.
