Henrys Lake State Park is a sprawling 585-acre park set around the small, shallow alpine Henrys Lake located in the mountains of southeastern Idaho. Resting at 6,472 feet above sea level on the southwest side of the Henrys Lake Mountains, the park is just 15 miles west of Yellowstone National Park and a fishing paradise for eager anglers. Facilities at the park include 44 campsites with tent and RV sites and camper cabins, boat launches, miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, an amphitheater, a fish cleaning station, an information center, and a kiosk. Activities range from boating, fishing, kayaking and camping to picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, nature hikes, and wildlife watching.
