There are also twenty-five camping areas at the Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site with vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire grills. The site also includes a nature trail and a visitor center. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, such as mountain lions, bobcats, prairie dogs, and porcupines.
