Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Hawk Springs State Recreation Area is a rather small recreation area established and managed by the Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites & Trails Division. The recreation area is popular for camping and contains twenty-four primitive campsites, a playground, restrooms, a boat dock, a boat launching ramp, fire rings, and picnic tables. Potable water hydrants near the campsites are operated seasonally. Water based activities are the main reason why many people come to the Hawk Springs State Recreation Area, including swimming, fishing, and boating. The area has long been a popular fishing destination along the state of Wyoming’s southeastern border.
